Regarding the writers block, I was exactly in the same place a before the beginning of this year.

So, I started a blog site using Wordpress while I was completing school (2017). Before the start of the year, this how many pieces I had written,

2017 - 13

2018 - 8

2019 - 4

2020 - 1

2021 - 2

2022 marked the completion of 5 years since I started the blog and guess how many I had written this year, 49.

I’ll be writing the 50th one tonight and a few more in the coming days while I’ll be marking the highlights of the year. Making it 1 for every week, every single week of the year.

So, how do I do that?

That’s> Keep low expectations on yourself. Nobody starts out as a JK Rowling. If you feel you’re writing is not as good as a pro, so be it and hence doesn’t matter how well you write as long as write something; anything.

> You can start writing with anything that’s on top of your mind at that moment. Say, you were listening to an old song at Spotify and you discovered that it was a banger that you had underestimated. Start with that.

> Feel anxious and fear your experiences not being well-documented. Some of the most beautiful days of your life might just become a vague memory within months time, it’s so incredibly important that you document them in detail that you can revisit and relive the same at your will.

> Don’t worry about the length of the blog. Sometimes you may not have a lot of things to say and that’s completely okay. As long as, you flush out your emotions and your anxiety to write something, everything thing is fine.

> And don’t share your blog, let people discover them accidentally and follow you organically.

That’s how much I can think of right now. Stick to your routine and before you realise you’d have written 100 different pieces and in the due course, your writing would get better and become as effortless as breathing.

Excuse the Typos and Grammatical errors. Was typing from an iPhone and it’s super hard to do a good job at that.
